Khamenei’s confidant says Jews used sorcery to make the US impose sanctions on Iran, try to oust Ahmadinejad.

An official close to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused Jews of using sorcery against the Islamic Republic, according to a report on the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

“The Jews have the greatest powers of sorcery, and they make use of this tool,” Mehdi Taeb told students at a religious seminary in Ahwaz on April 20.

Taeb blamed the Zionists of being responsible for “all the measures that have been brought against” the Islamic Republic. The Zionists made the US, that is “a tool in their hands,” impose the strict economic sanctions on Iran, he said.

The Zionists, he claimed, also used their magic to try to interfere in the 2009 presidential elections in which they attempted to oust Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

“So far, they have not used the full scope of their sorcery against us. Sorcery was the final means to which they resorted during the Ahmadinejad era, but they were defeated. This ability of the Jews was eliminated by Iran. Five years ago they tried to oust Ahmadinejad by this means,” he said.

Rasanews.ir, a website associated with the religious seminaries in Qom, posted an article on March 7 that elaborates on the use of sorcery and numerology in Jewish mysticism.

“The Jews have always tended to resort to divination, a practice that has its roots in astronomy, astrology and sorcery, which they picked up when they consorted with various peoples in the course of history. They cherished this knowledge like a treasure, generation after generation. In most cases, they base their predictions on the holy book the Old Testament, especially on the book of Daniel, and they create an ideological climate in which the appreciation of sorcery and the yearning for it increase,” the article translated by MEMRI said.

“The Jewish people think that ruling over man, nature, and divine traditions can be achieved only by means of sorcery. They believe that it is possible to conquer nature and control the world, and even to control God’s decisions, by using sorcery methods…” it continued.

2000 IDF RESERVISTS CALLED UP NORTH IN SURPRISE DRILL

IDF launches surprise drill to test its ability to engage Hizbullah in Lebanon; exercise, that comes amid tensions with Hizbullah, ongoing instability in Syria, is the first one held in this large scale for several years.

In the shadow of ongoing northern tensions, the IDF launched a large-scale surprise drill and called up 2,000 reserves to the North on Sunday evening to test its ability to quickly engage Hizbullah in Lebanon.

The drill, which will involve live-fire exercises, is aimed at testing the army’s readiness and operational flexibility, a senior military source said.

It is the first exercise held on this large a scale for several years, and comes amid tensions with Hizbullah and ongoing instability in neighboring Syria.

The US is reportedly considering the possibility of intervening in Syria following reports of chemical weapons use by the Assad regime. On Sunday, an Iranian official threatened that any intervention in Syria would result in attacks on Israel.

“Reality forces us to prepare these abilities,” the source said. “The reserves understand this,” he added. “The scenario involves Lebanon, but it could also be Syria,” he added.

Over the past 24 hours, the IDF’s Etgar (Challenge) Formation, a part of IDF Northern Command, began calling up the reserves without prior warning. After being called up, the reserves were told that their mission had changed, and that they had to deploy accordingly within 48 hours.

During the drill, soldiers from the infantry brigade will embark on a brigade-wide life-fire exercise.

“There’s a need for high alert, via a surprise drill. This is a part of our training system,” the source said.

The scenario at the heart of the drill involves a sudden escalation with Hizbullah, leading to ground maneuver inside Lebanon.

The exercise will last until Thursday.

Last week, a drone took off from Lebanon and attempted to infiltrate Israeli air space near Haifa, before being shot down by an IAF F-16 fighter jet.

In February a tank battalion from the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade completed an extensive war drill on the Golan Heights. The 9th Eshet Battalion, made up of Israel’s most advanced tank, the Merkava Mark 4, practiced combat situations involving potential northern fronts, as well as dealing with multiple casualties.

At the same time, the infantry brigade also completed a major war drill on the Golan Heights in February, simulating a surprise development. All Brigade soldiers were suddenly mobilized to the Golan to test their readiness and ability to join a battle quickly.

“We are on the highest alert now to carry out any mission,” Lt.-Col. Oshik Azulai, commander of the infantry’s 932nd “Granite” Brigade said at the time.

In September 2012, the IDF held a surprise drill and practiced a rapid mobilization of Artillery Corps units from the West Bank to the the North.

When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. ‘Very few people were true Nazis,’ he said, ‘but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.’

We are told again and again by ‘experts’ and ‘talking heads’ that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful Muslim majority, the ‘silent majority,’ is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China’s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians — most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were ‘peace loving’?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

1 Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.
2 Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.
3 Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts–the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

HIZBULLAH AND THE SYRIAN CIVIL WAR

Hizbullah is the critical element in the Syrian civil war – which would not only end the civil war, but ensure Hizbullah’s place in Syria – similar to its role in Lebanon.

As part of a new Syrian government, Hizbullah will be protected and legitimized.

Backed by the EU, it will enjoy international support despite its involvement in terrorist attacks around the world, drug trafficking, counterfeiting and other criminal activity. With a significant presence in Syria and Lebanon, the US will probably reconsider its relationship with Hizbullah.

Fragmented among various factions, a new Islamist/Sunni-backed Syrian government will be weak and no match for the more disciplined, organized and well-funded Hizbullah. Backed by “democratic” elections, Hizbullah will gain legitimacy and a political role which will give them a chair at the diplomatic table.

A renewed Syrian-Lebanese axis under Hizbullah will provide Iran with a huge land base from which to extend its influence in the region and lead the fight for every inch of what many in the international community consider “occupied Syrian territory” – the Golan Heights.

A new, radical Islamist Syrian government will focus on a return of the Golan to Syria as a way of building national cohesion. Their efforts will be primarily diplomatic and media-oriented, intended to further isolate and condemn Israel.

Guerrilla terrorist incursions and missile attacks, however, should be expected as part of a campaign to “liberate land stolen by Israelis (Jews).”

Israel’s northern border, therefore, will become “hot,” like that with Egypt and the Gaza Strip. Since Iran supports Hamas and Hizbullah, it is logical to assume these organizations are working together. Although it’s unclear what Egypt’s position will be in a growing confrontation with Israel in the north, one would expect at least approval if not active support. Egypt could, for example, allow Hizbullah units to operate in the Sinai, along with Hamas, to create a second front. It would be a nice fit with Moslem Brotherhood interests.

Along with Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”) and eastern Jerusalem, the Golan Heights will be on the negotiating table. This sets up a standoff that cannot be resolved without Israeli capitulation.

Even Israeli politicians, like President Shimon Peres, who have advocated relinquishing the Golan, would be hard pressed to make that argument again.

The unpredictable danger regarding a future Syrian government that includes Hizbullah is the massive stockpile of chemical and biological weapons which remain unsecured and are still available to President Bashar Assad and his regime. Presumably, these weapons of mass destruction would also be available to any future government, and perhaps to splinter groups and non-governmental rogue actors. The failure of the international community to eliminate this threat is at least on par with its failure to prevent Iran achieving nuclear capability.

The international community can and must take responsibility for removing all WMD from Syria.

Hizbullah’s role in the Syrian civil war is ominous. Supporting Syrian rebels will have the short-term effect of prolonging the crisis, but will not end it.

Only when a stalemate is reached and the sides are exhausted will the standoff result in some form of political compromise.

As the recent terrorist attack in Bulgaria shows, however, the danger of Hizbullah is not limited to its presence in Lebanon and Syria. Supported by Iran, it is a worldwide terrorist organization capable of attacking anywhere and at any time. Ironically, it is also the key to resolving the Syrian civil war.

One of the few ways the international community can check Hizbullah and Islamists is by recognizing Israel’s claims to the Golan Heights and removing it as a bargaining chip. Failure to do this will encourage Islamists in Syria and Hizbullah in their efforts to destroy Israel and create havoc in the rest of the world.

The Syrian civil war will consume more lives before both sides decide that they have had enough. Limited foreign intervention cannot resolve the basic issues in this struggle, and may exacerbate them. Unfortunately, things will have to get worse before they get better.

ANTI-SEMITISM GROWING IN CANADA

Anti-Semitic incidents in Canada rose by 3.7 percent in 2012, and Holocaust denial rose 77 percent, revealed the Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents released by the League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada.

According to the audit, there were 1,345 anti-Semitic incidents in Canada in 2012, up from 1,297 in 2011.

“We are particularly concerned about this year’s findings of increased participation in these incidents by perpetrators self-identifying as Muslims who are apparently supportive of Islamist ideologies of hate and violence. But we are encouraged by the many Muslims with whom we work closely, who are prepared to expose antisemitism in their community,” said Frank Dimant, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada.

“The Audit shows an overall decrease in vandalism and violence, but an increase of 10.6% in incidents of harassment,” he said. “Jews were targeted in their homes and at their workplaces, on their way to synagogue or returning from school. The language has moved from ‘Fxxk the Jews’ to ‘Kill the Jews’, with Holocaust Denial cases soaring by 77%, and threats becoming more ugly, explicit and open.”

“The League is also warning that youth culture is being infiltrated by the lyrics of hate, extremism from abroad through online propaganda, and cyberbullying directed to a victim’s smartphone,” Dimant stated.

“The Audit has set out an Action Plan to counter hate, but it will only achieve its goals if all sectors of Canadian society work together whenever and wherever expressions of hate are brought to light,” he added.

According to a new report, published by Tel Aviv University’s Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry, in cooperation with the European Jewish Congress, the year 2012 registered a 30% increase in anti-Semitic acts compared to 2011.

SYRIAN ARMY WAS ORDERED TO USE CHEMICAL WEAPONS

The Syrian government ordered the use chemical weapons against the Free Syrian Army (FSA) during select battles with Syrian regime forces, a defected general told Al Arabiya late Saturday.

Zahir al-Sakit, a former army general from the chemical weapons branch, told Al Arabiya that he was instructed to use chemical weapons during a regime battle with the FSA in the southwestern area of Hauran.

Instead, Sakit disobeyed the orders and substituted the chemicals with disinfectant water he called “Javel water.”

“I was given orders to execute the use of poisonous chemicals in caves and tunnels that are used by the Free Syrian Army, but I mixed all chemicals with water and used Javel water instead,” Sakit said.

He said that prior to his defection, no chemical weapons were used on his watch in battles against the FSA.

“I assure you that I ordered all chemical weapons to be buried and I can point out the exact locations of those chemicals,” Sakit told Al Arabiya.

The United States and Britain have previously accused the Syrian government of using chemical weapons in Damascus after results of the smuggled soil samples showed presence of chemicals that were used in the capital’s suburbs.

U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday warned Syria that using chemical weapons would be a “game changer,” after the U.S., Israel and Britain all cited signs that the regime attacked with the deadly agent sarin.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told members of Knesset on Sunday to refrain from voicing concern over the mounting evidence of chemical weapons use in Syria, in an effort to avoid the impression Israel is pushing the international community into armed intervention.

SYRIA’S CHEMICAL WEAPONS – VERY SERIOUS!

British Prime Minister David Cameron said on Friday that growing evidence of the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime was “extremely serious”.

Cameron agreed with President Barack Obama that such use would represent a “red line” for the international community, but said the response would likely be political rather than military, the AFP news agency reported.

“This is extremely serious. And I think what President Obama said was absolutely right, that this should form for the international community a red line for us to do more,” Cameron told the BBC.

“I’ve always been keen for us to do more. The question is how do we step up the pressure,” he said.

“In my view what we need to do — and we’re doing some of this already — is shape that opposition, work with them, train them, mentor them, help them so we put the pressure on the regime and so we can bring this to an end.”

Asked whether that would mean putting British troops on the ground in Syria, Cameron responded by saying, “I don’t want to see that and I don’t think that is likely to happen.

“But I think we can step up the pressure on the regime, work with our partners, work with the opposition in order to bring about the right outcome.”

The United States said Thursday for the first time that Syria had likely used chemical weapons against rebel forces, but emphasized spy agencies were still not definitively sure of the assessment.

Britain’s Foreign Office confirmed it also had “limited but persuasive” evidence of the use of chemical agents in the conflict which the UN says has left more than 70,000 dead since March 2011.

“It is limited evidence, but there is growing evidence that we’ve seen too of the use of chemical weapons, probably by the regime,” Cameron said on Friday, according to AFP.

IRAN IS WATCHING USA RESPONSE ON SYRIA

The United States’ response to Syrian President Bashar Assad’s use of chemical weapons will send a signal to Iran, Deputy Foreign Minister Zev Elkin said Friday.

If the U.S. does not act to destroy chemical weapons in Syria, it will signal a reluctance to take action in Iran as well, he warned.

“If they don’t act on something they defined as a ‘red line,’ then the Iranians will learn that the red lines the West sets are very flexible, and will continue their nuclear program,” he told IDF Radio (Galei Tzahal).

“If the United States and the international community are able to take action and to take control of the chemical weapons reserves in Syria, the concerns over its use will not be relevant. It could be that as soon as the international community understands that red lines have been crossed, it will realize that there is no choice but to take action,” he continued.

What concerns Israel is not who leads the Syria government, but the question of who controls Syria’s chemical weapons and how to keep them out of use, Elkin added.

“The world is beginning to internalize the fact that chemical weaponry endangers us all,” he said.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel said Thursday that American intelligence believes Assad’s forces have used chemical weapons. The Syrian opposition has called on the international community to intervene, a call that was backed by U.S. senators.

UN OFFICIAL FALK – HAS NO PLACE AT UN!

United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, called on Wednesday for the dismissal of Richard Falk, a top official on the United Nations Human Rights Council, who attempted to explain the Boston Marathon bombings as a reaction to US policy in the Middle East.

Falk, whose official title is the “U.N. special rapporteur for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories,” implied that the Boston Marathon bombings were payback for America’s “geopolitical fantasy of global domination” and its friendship with Israel.

“…As long as Tel Aviv has the compliant ear of the American political establishment, those who wish for peace and justice in the world should not rest easy,” Falk wrote in an article published in Foreign Policy Journal.

He also implied that the Boston terror attack was a justified response to U.S. policies in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq.

“Outraged by Richard Falk’s highly offensive Boston comments. Someone who spews such vitriol has no place at the UN. Past time for him to go,” Ambassador Rice wrote on Twitter.

The Anti-Defamation League issued a harsh denunciation of his comments, saying “It is outrageous that the U.N. Human Rights Council continues to support such a wildly conspiratorial and highly biased extremist as a reliable ‘expert.”

“Richard Falk has given the Human Right’s Council yet another black eye and his continued affiliation with the international body only serves to undermine its credibility. His outrageous assertion that the Boston terror attack can be traced to U.S. and Israeli policy is not surprising, given his notorious record of anti-Israel and anti-American propaganda,” said ADL National Director Abraham Foxman.

Jewish groups have long criticized the many anti-Israel statements and biased reports issued by Falk, including comparisons of Israeli actions to those of the Nazis, his use of anti-Semitic imagery and his 2012 U.N. report which endorsed an official boycott of companies conducting business with Israel.

U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has previously condemned Falk, but has stated that he has no authority to remove him from his position.

WHY DO SO MANY MUSLIMS EMBRACE TERROR AND WARFARE?

Mahatma Gandhi is quoted in the book, Gandhi: The Power of Pacifism, by Catherine Clement, as follows: While Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Parsees and Jews, along with several million adherents of an animistic religion, all coexisted in relative harmony, one religion that would not accept compromise stood out from the rest: Islam.

Gandhi, a Hindu, was referring to the experience during his lifetime in the Indian sub-continent, but the growth of Wahhabism and the current resurgence in Islamic triumphalism since Gandhi’s death in January 1948 now poses an increasingly existential threat to the West, to Judeo-Christian civilization, as well as to Hindus, Buddhists, Bahai and members of other faiths or of no faith.

The question repeatedly posed by the talking heads on the TV networks and cable television is how and why so many Muslims, young and old, living in the West and enjoying all the material and educational benefits bestowed upon them, are committing hideous acts of terror and perpetrating atrocities upon innocent civilians, even against their very own neighbors.

The Times Square bombing attempt on May 1, 2010 by Pakistan-born Faisal Shahzad and the 2009 Fort Hood massacre of unarmed members of the military by Major Nidal Hasan (still described by the problematic U.S. administration as “workplace violence”) are well-known. So too is the attempt at terrorism by a Somali immigrant, Mohamed Osman Mohamud, who had come to America at the age of five with his family as a refugee from the hell that is Somalia, and who attempted to kill thousands during a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Portland, Oregon.

But until the Chechen Muslim Tsanaev brothers succeeded in their massacre at the Boston Marathon, most terror attacks had been thwarted since the 9/11 destruction of the Twin Towers and part of the Pentagon by the 19 Saudi Arabian hijackers, in which 3,000 people were murdered. This time, however, the Muslim miscreants succeeded.

It was the baleful President Carter who undercut the shah of Iran, an autocrat who jailed and restricted the jihadists and Islamic groups and who was a supporter and ally of America. Just like President Obama, who equally undercut Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the subsequent vacuum was quickly and gleefully filled by Islamic fundamentalists and the Muslim Brotherhood respectively who imposed sharia law and raised the banner of Islamic supremacy.

With the shah’s fall came the Ayatollah Khomeini from his exile in France, and almost immediately Carter’s foolish act resulted in a seemingly endless and humiliating imprisonment of American Embassy staff in Tehran. Since then Iran has fed the flames of Islamic terror around the globe, arming and funding terror organizations such as Hamas and Hezb’allah.

Ayatollah Khomeini preached violence to ultimately conquer “the land of the infidel.” By that he meant Israel, Christian European states and Britain, the United States, and the entire non-Muslim world. His followers throughout the Muslim and Arab world have all endorsed the legitimacy of jihad against what they call the “enemies of Islam.”

Islamic martyrdom operations — specifically blowing up soft targets like spectators at sporting events — are their guarantees to paradise even if the victims are children.

So the answer to those talking heads in the media who endlessly ask why so many Muslims commit such atrocities can be seen both in Koranic passages and in, for instance, the sickening hate indoctrination found in the government-controlled Palestinian TV and radio broadcasts.

Here are some of the grisly passages from the Koran:

“Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Koran 2:191

“Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.” Koran 9:123

“When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them.” Koran 9:5

“Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Koran 3:85

“The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them.”… Koran 9:30

“Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam” Koran 5:33

“Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.” Koran 22:19

“The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.” Koran 8:65

“Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Koran 3:28

“Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.” Koran 8:12

“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Koran 8:60

And here are some examples of the Palestinian broadcasts that sow hate among children as young as three years of age, spawning yet another generation of terrorists and destroying hope of any true and lasting peace with the embattled State of Israel.

For example, the children’s show, The Best Home, included a scene in which a young girl recited a poem filled with messages of hate and other libels demonizing Jews. The poem made the vile and fantastic assertion that Jews, “Allah’s enemies, the sons of pigs,” defiled the Quran and Jerusalem, “murdered children,” “cut off their limbs,” and “raped the women in the city squares.”

This message of vitriol — aimed at the future generation of Palestinians — not only serves to foster hatred and violence, but undermines the very essence of coexistence and peace. It poisons the minds of innocent young children instead of promoting respect for one another, which is a cornerstone for true peace. The irony is that these grotesque and deceitful charges are exactly what is routinely found perpetrated by the regimes within so many Muslim and Arab states.

In our politically correct world, members of the media and commentators often seek to distance Islam from so many acts of horrific violence, using terms of alleged distinction such as “radical Islam” or “moderate Islam” and so on. But let us reflect on the words of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, the close friend of Iran’s genocidal president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. In reply to the terms “moderate and radical Islam,” which was apparently quoted to him by a Western journalist, Erdo?an said: “These descriptions are very ugly; it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam, and that’s it.”

Certainly, attempting to constantly give, as liberals do, a free pass to Islamic abuses; to play down its violent ambitions of world conquest; to ignore the evident threat to Judeo-Christian civilization from sharia law and imposed dhimmitude merely encourages the violent tendencies of the followers of what has been called “an ideology wrapped in a religion.”

It has been an aim of Islamic terrorists and jihadists to use people who do not look Arab or Middle Eastern to commit atrocities on soft targets in the U.S in order for them to blend in better with the majority population. This could be the first wave of such terror.

The two Chechen brothers thus almost certainly embraced the hatred towards non-Muslims which proliferate in Islamic texts, in the fiery sermons of Imams, on Islamic websites, and in Islamic social media. And they are not alone.
